Performance Rating

The HD Graphics 400 Mobile was a mobile integrated graphics solution by Intel, launched on April 1st, 2015. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Braswell GT1 graphics processor, the device supports DirectX 12. Even though it supports DirectX 12, the feature level is only 11_1, which can be problematic with newer DirectX 12 titles. Unlike the fully unlocked HD Graphics 405 Mobile, which uses the same GPU but has all 128 shaders enabled, Intel has disabled some shading units on the HD Graphics 400 Mobile to reach the product's target shader count. It features 96 shading units, 12 texture mapping units, and 2 ROPs. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 320 MHz, which can be boosted up to 600 MHz.
