The Radeon Pro WX Vega M GL was a professional mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on April 24th, 2018. Built on the 14 nm process, and based on the Polaris 22 graphics processor, in its VegaM MGL XL variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. The Polaris 22 graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 208 mm² and 5,000 million transistors. Unlike the fully unlocked Radeon RX Vega M GH, which uses the same GPU but has all 1536 shaders enabled, AMD has disabled some shading units on the Radeon Pro WX Vega M GL to reach the product's target shader count. It features 1280 shading units, 80 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 4 GB HBM2 memory with the Radeon Pro WX Vega M GL, which are connected using a 1024-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 931 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1011 MHz, memory is running at 700 MHz.
