The Radeon Pro VII was an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on May 13th, 2020. Built on the 7 nm process, and based on the Vega 20 graphics processor, in its Vega 20 GLXT WS variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The Vega 20 graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 331 mm² and 13,230 million transistors. It features 3840 shading units, 240 texture mapping units, and 64 ROPs. AMD has paired 16 GB HBM2 memory with the Radeon Pro VII, which are connected using a 4096-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 1400 MHz, which can be boosted up to 1700 MHz, memory is running at 1000 MHz.
