The FirePro S7150 was an enthusiast-class professional graphics card by AMD, launched on February 1st, 2016. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Tonga graphics processor, in its Tonga XT GL variant, the card supports DirectX 12. The Tonga graphics processor is a large chip with a die area of 366 mm² and 5,000 million transistors. It features 2048 shading units, 128 texture mapping units, and 32 ROPs. AMD has paired 8 GB GDDR5 memory with the FirePro S7150, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface.
