Performance Rating

The FirePro RG220 was a professional graphics card by AMD, launched on May 4th, 2010. Built on the 55 nm process, and based on the RV711 graphics processor, the card supports DirectX 10.1. Since FirePro RG220 does not support DirectX 11 or DirectX 12, it might not be able to run all the latest games. The RV711 graphics processor is a relatively small chip with a die area of only 73 mm² and 242 million transistors. It features 80 shading units, 8 texture mapping units, and 4 ROPs. AMD has paired 512 MB GDDR3 memory with the FirePro RG220, which are connected using a 256-bit memory interface. The GPU is operating at a frequency of 500 MHz, memory is running at 800 MHz.
