The FirePro M6000 was a professional mobile graphics chip by AMD, launched on July 1st, 2012. Built on the 28 nm process, and based on the Heathrow graphics processor, in its Heathrow XT GL variant, the chip supports DirectX 12. The Heathrow graphics processor is an average sized chip with a die area of 123 mm² and 1,500 million transistors. It features 640 shading units, 40 texture mapping units, and 16 ROPs.
